The Farm Gift that's actually made by a Farmer | Barn Dancer
Good quality gifts for farmers can be difficult to find. Have you even found yourself searching online for a farm themed gift for a Farmer only to be disappointed with the choice of mass produced "stuff" made nowhere near a farm. I know I have!
Wouldn't it be cool to find farm themed gifts for farmers made with the hands of an actual farmer on a real working farm? Wouldn't it also be cool to support a small family farm while doing this?
That's exactly what I had in mind when I decided to create The Barn Dancer Farmyard Keyring Collection. Each keyring I craft is made from REAL Cowhide.
It was so important for me to use an authentic material so hair on hide leather was a no brainer. It's both soft and hardwearing, much like the Farmers in my life to be honest.
I say this to my customers all the time, but what I love the most about working with cowhide is that it's impossible for me to make two items the same. I couldn't even if I tried. No two Barn Dancer Hand Cut Cowhide Keyrings are the same. I suppose this is also much like the animals themselves - each one in unique. 
The Cow
These Farmers hands of mine have cared for lambs, fed calves and steered a quad bike around a few fields. They are the same pair of working hands I have used to carefully mark out and hand cut each and every cow, sheep, hen, duck and tractor.
So, these farm gifts haven't been designed in city office or manufactured overseas. They're made right here, by me on My Small Farm on the side of a Welsh Hill. That's what makes them the perfect farm gift made by an actual Farmer on a real working farm.
